Become a user and enjoy. Use it on your mobile phone, tablet, shmablet,
..., and tell us how it went! The more users, the merrier. The more feedback
the better. If you mold it to make you tea, tell us how you did that!
Explanation: shmablet is a direct pun on phablet, (and embracing *books,
*lets, and *pads)
not sure about shmablet. This is an American English form probably
taken from Yiddish. Fancy/schmancy is common. The problem is that it's
usually a derogative play on the first word. 1) Many people won't get
the pun. 2) Some people will take it as mildly insulting to tablet.
I like the idea of avoiding "device" but I don't think that this will work.
How about some other made-up concept. Thingy, blablet, Xablet, secret
decoder ring, Dick Tracy 2-Way Wrist Radio. phablet/shmablet might
work; phablet is already kinda weird.
If you mold it to make you tea, tell us how you did that!
sounds odd
If you mold it to make tea, tell us how!
(Wow, could even have a poetic meter ... If you MOLD it to make TEA
tell us HOW B^)

Personally, all the words like phablet shmablet etc. sound very weird
and sounds like we are creating a monster or something. ;) Thus I would
stick on the Tablet/Netbook/SmartTV/IVI etc. which are the known
categories or so.
But it is nice start in general.
