Er, this is the whole point of slices.  I know a number of people who
are building slices to do various things, that haven't been release
cause they're still in the works.  There's going to be a bit of lag
time, since 1.0 was only released last week.  we'll have to wait for
the rest of the community to catch up.  But i think everyone agrees
that sharing is for the win :)

also, the core team member's blogs are all word press :P there isn't a
blogging platform out there on merb yet.
