Size wise it will fit just fine. The only problem may be having to do a custom oil pan, which I don't think of as very difficult to make.
The only problem with the electric is the batteries. That's a lot of weight. Now if you spring for a fuel cell and run it with hydrogen. But that gets into a bunch of other problems.
