My wife gave me a Craftsman drill/driver combo for Christmas 19.2v. Not a bad kit, the driver isn't as good as the drill, its slower and hard to put pressure on. Definately get a standard chuck! Dad has the same drill in 14v, his is lighter and has similar grunt but mine lasts longer. For you I'd say get the 14v and 2 batteries, the charger will recharge in 1 hour at which point you'll probably need a break anyway.

That works well for screws and it also has an adjustable clutch so you won't over drive them. $39 and change. I don't think me arthritic wrists are up to job anymore, so am thinking about one of these new fangled cordless screw driver/drill thingies. My question is, how much torque, or voltage do I need in a device to drive the appropriate screws into/through hickory? I see the range (when it's mentioned) ot 100 to 500 inch/pounds. Any recommendations? -- OK Don, KD5NRO Norman, OK "There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely games." - Ernest Hemingway '90 300D (Rattled), '92 300D (Saber), ''97 Ply Grand Voyager (Vincent van-go) _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com For new parts see official list sponsor: http://www.buymbparts.com/ For used parts email [EMAIL PROTECTED] To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
