You think 9 deg was cold wait til that battery dies and leaves her
stranded somewhere. You find out what cold is. A new one should do
well against one several years old, whatever is specified for the
Expediator.

My wife's 2001 Ford Expedition sat all weekend (from Friday at noon until this
morning). I started it for her and it was slow to start. It was 9 degrees
this morning, but I could tell the battery was a little slow to crank over that
big 5.4 V8. It started, but was just a little slow. I think the battery is
several years old and it is still starting and charging (I checked). But, I am
just wondering if I should think about a new battery soon. I wonder if I could
get one of the batteries that come with the big Ford Diesel engine. It would
certainly have enough CCA. In other news, the Cadillac fired up immediately -
I love that car.
