I would not have expected that of a pilot. I normally refuel when the gauge hits 1/2 tank. Sometimes, 1/4 tank if I am feeling lucky. I've seen the reserve light on my 240D once, and that was just to test it (in town, within walking distance of my house).
Yea, I know -- half tank give me about 300 miles to empty. I don't care -- the fuel you might have taken on last landing, the runway behind you, etc. On Fri, Apr 24, 2009 at 9:24 PM, WILTON <wilt...@nc.rr.com> wrote: > That's what I've been lucky enough to do for MANY years - when the gauge > indicates low, refuel. > -- The only absolute is that everything is relative. --Henri de Saint Simon -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
