Same here.  It's a great idea---it's amazing how much reusable/recyclable
material there is in houses htat just ends up in a landfill when old
construction is demolished to make room for new---from kitchen cabinets to
pipe to drywall.  People will even just throw away hardwood floorboards from
old houses, when they could so easily be refinished and reused.  My current
house is sided with Hardiplank, which I plan to have removed carefully and
used to side a new garage when I build a new house.
