Might be the charging circuit if not the battery --R

My PowerBook G4 today started showing an X in the battery icon and it will no longer charge the battery. The battery has not been holding a charge like it used to, but I was still able to get 30 - 45 minutes out of it a few weeks ago. Now, if I unplug the power adapter the computer dies immediately. Is this just an indicator that the battery is at the end of its life? Allan
