You can determine variance between cylinders by taking enough
readings. The key to any instrumentation is repeatability. What I am
saying is that I would want enough repetition to know beyond any doubt what
is repeatable and what is an anomaly.
I'd hate to see someone pronounce a head or a gasket dead based on just one
reading from this tool. Most of us DIYers are willing to spend a little
extra time to save a buck and to be sure our Benz is healthy and dependable.

So, it sounds like it would be difficult to determine if the variance

you had a blown head gasket?
