101 and 280 seem to move pretty well. I've been through the Bay Area at least several times and only hit traffic once or twice. I've never managed to get through LA without sitting in traffic. The 10, 205, 405 ... all bad. As they say of the 405 - 38 miles, 2-1/2 hours. It really doesn't clear up until you get across the San Diego County line or out into the desert.
