What's wrong with the ACA? Need a compelling reason to keep it at arms length? How about these reasons? A whole new monster will have to be fed when we already have a deficit situation. How financially bad must the fed make things before people see a disaster? it continues ONLY because they can print money - and the more they print the less we have is worth - but they MUST print more as that's the only way to pay their bills.

A good reason to not jump on board aca? How about it's not the government's charter to provide health care? (or many of the other things that are driving this country farther and farther into debt? Like Detroit? Good that's that's where we are heading - it'll just take the USA longer cause we can print money) The Constitution has served us pretty well for over 200 years - now people want to deviate from it on the promise (and nothing else BUT a promise) of a street hustler who never had a real job, refuses to release education and other records, is distributing jobs as czars like a card dealer in Vegas and then allows those people who have zero congressional oversight to make high salaries while they create humongous regulations that will control every minute factor of our lives? Is that compellingenough?

There are plenty of ways to improve the greatest health care system the world has seen without throwing it in the trash and giving it to a bunch of government bureaucrats! (tort reform, allowing insurers to cross state lines for 2) We don't know who these people are! How do we know they have our best interest at heart? They may be fine people but they are so well protected by the bureaucracy we will never know - until we see the regulations they are cranking out faster than the mint is cranking out sheets of 100 dollar bills! We used to be able to count on the news media to vet these kinds of people for us. Now they have their own agenda - and we're not a big part of it. They only dig through the trash of those perceived as conservatives so it can be splashed on the TV News.

How can people not see the problem with what's going on? You seem to be willing to _hope_ for the best and if that's not what you get, oh well, maybe we'll like socialism? Well, no one in the history of the world has found it preferable to freedom, but hey! maybe we'll be the 1st? Yeah, that's it.... sheesh....

Creating a new financial monster using the federal government to administer it, who as a whole, has the _worst _track record of anyone who ever tried to successfully operate a traditional business, arethe LAST thing we should consider. There is NO reason to think it will succeed other than wishful thinking. We need to operate on facts, not wishes. I would think that this would be _so _obvious that even our most highly educated could see it!

Gary,
Let's see...2000 page bill nobody read, changes made to a law by the president
and NOT congress, 16,000 pages of regulations that few have actually read. By
the time you wait and see what's in it, everyone (except the politicians) will
be screwed, including you. ACA is sorta like the Fair Tax...looks reasonable on
paper, but a pure train wreck to try to implement. Everyone knows what is wrong
with our current health care system, but can congress address those problems,
no, they pass a new law to create new/different problems. Just sayin'......
Best Wishes,
