I would guess it's glue. If Marshall doesn't want it, I';m gonna bust it open to see what the inside looks like - will keep y'all posted. I was surprised how HEAVY the mirror assembly is...it looks like glue, but i can;t see why...mold plastic around mirror - maybe put a pad in there for vibration dampening...but all that glue? seems strange.
