I don't think the old Chrysler products had any more problem with stock oil pan clearance than any other make. Perhaps it was due to the tank-like dimensions of that Fury III coupled with insufficient suspension.

Speaking of outrunning cops, the same engine I'm speaking of outran Tucson's "finest" (and their Chevys were running fine - just not enough umph.)
