Yeah, it doesn't look entirely stock, but it does look like it's something MB that's meant to interface with the vacuum system. (as I recall it does have the vacuum module built into the top of the solenoid). I'm guessingit's from a newer/different model?
If it's a single-line vacuum pod the wires are a switch for position feedback, not an actuator. The older two-line systems have _no_ actuator in the driver's door, only a vacuum valve. -- Jim
