As someone who has had to live on poor but expensive regular health
plans and poor but expensive ACA plans, I am quite happy with my
current medicare plan. And after all I did pay into it just like SS.
Now our geniuses in gobbermint tell me that my money went to an
entitlement. BS! Those in gobbermint are the ones receiving
entitlements everyday.
Healthcare, especially Medicare has the problem of corruption,
crooked doctors, crooked lawyers, crooked gobbermint employees that
don't do audits, etc. etc. etc. Personally, I'd be happy if everyone
who wants socialized medicine would move to a socialized country.
And yes, that's just my opinion from having been abused for decades
by the many liberal, socialist, whatevers that have crept into
positions of power within the US gobbermint.
So, MAO/Dan, I don't think it's fear, it's just trying to get decent
healthcare. That's all I've ever wanted without being ripped off
financially by either the insurance companies or my gobbermint.
Just my opinion and as always, everyone else is free to have theirs.
