On the subject of butts, here is a true story:

Right after WW-2 hotel rooms were expensive, so salesmen on regular intercity
routes would often arrange for rooms in private homes.
This salesman I knew had rented a room from a widow who had some kind of big
German dog. The dog was introduced to the salesman, remembered his scent, and
if he came to the house after the widow had gone to bed, the dog would stick
its narrow nose between his legs and raise it sharply, checking his scent.
He could then go safely back to the sleeping room.

The widow had installed a baby gate across the hall leading to the rental room
and bath, and the salesman was told to be sure and close the baby gate after
entering so the well trained dog wouldn't follow and
bother him.

This worked well until he came in one night a little soused, forgot to close
the baby gate, and was getting the tub ready for a bath.
He was naked and bending over the tub when the dog came silently up behind him,
stuck its nose between his legs and raised it sharply.

He "dove" into the bathtub and nearly dislocated his shoulder.
He never forgot to close the baby gate again.
The only reason the dog "checked him out" must have been that she had never
seen him nude before and thought it might be someone else.
