My '83 240D is exactly the same as the one first discussed on this string 
except for having 200K miles and a few very minor dings inside and out. 
It's always been garaged or parked under a carport and has no sun damage.
Windows, A/C, heat, etc. are all manual. No sunroof.  I bought it from a German 
prof who bought it new in Germany. 
I'm going to sell it as soon as I figure out what these cars in very good 
condition are actually selling for. I would guess around $5000. I was offered 
$5000 at a local car meet several years ago.
