No, you would have just been shaken up good.

I got hit square in the driver's door by a Chevy 3500 series van doing 60, had to have weighed at least 7000 lbs. Headlight right at the seat back, full impact to up to the front of the car.

I walked away -- slightly crooked, but walking.

Shoved the A pillar in at least 18 inches at the bottom, caved the door in so far it broke the turn signal lever off, bent the whole car so much the passenger front door stands half an inch proud of the frame, but three doors still open and close.

Not that I recommend getting T-boned for entertainment....

My daughter was hit broadside in her rusty 107. I am not sure of the speed, but the little s%it came over the crest of a small hill going so fast he could not stop for several cars lined up behind her as she waited to make a left turn on a 4 lane. Rather than braking or moving to the right lane, he decided to move to the furthest lane of oncoming traffic. From there, he hit the 107, door back. I am convinced he was not within the speed limit.

The little s%it was uninsured and was judgement proof, so we could not even recover the value of the car. Apparently the cops knew him and could not be bothered to even give him a ticket.

But, my daughter walked away. The MB did its job. One of the reasons I am reluctant to buy any other brand.

Her friend in a brand new toada, was burned so badly that it took months for the powers that be to even do a dna test to determine who was burned beyond recognition.

Friends don't let friends drive toadas.
