I've played with NiMH AA and AAA batteries. The thing to look for is ULD (ultra low discharge) which you'll find in all eneloops and the Amazon basics all the best of which are made in Japan. Can't help you with anything else. I looked into replacing the cells in my 24v impact wrench but found mixed info...

These are the older ones, not the newer, small, "20 volt" Li-Ion. I think mine have NiCad. I think Curt one day expounded on the different niCads available and which ones self discharge the worst, or which ones to buy. I am wondering if there is anything to be gained by trying to replace the cells, or if I should just bite the bullet and buy new batteries for $100. I had planned to just buy a new drill kit, with 2 batteries and a charger when this day arrived. But those seem to have disappeared, and the "20volt" has taken its place. I can pay $100 for 2 new batteries, but I don't like that option. _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
