The plate was only used with the ceramic ring[Original ?]
,cause I found the same thing.Scares me 'cause that might mean this was never
changed & I did this @ 172,000 miles. The new filter has holes facing up. Next
time I'll switch to synthetic now that all you guys are brainwashing me.Thanks
