A buddy of mine in college had an old egg-shaped Volvo he and his dad
did that to, it was a great car. I don't think they had more than a
coupla hundred bucks in it, if that.

good one and welded it onto the other that was smashed in front. Took it to
the tag agent who looked at it, thought it looked good and titled it - I
don't remember what the title said specifically. Got liability insurance
with no questions asked. It wasn't worth enough to go for collision or
comprehensive - it was 15 years old at the time.
