I seem to recall that model has a fuel pump relay on the firewall, or
behind the glove box somewhere that is prone to failure and will cause the
pump to not work.

Might want to check that first. The test is to access the fuel pump
connection plug, then with key on, test for power to the fuel pump. No
power, likely the relay is malfunctioned.

It's been a while since I've dealt with one, so memory may not be perfect.
I do recall the relay is much easier to change out than the fuel pump...
may want to start there. ;)
