yeah, that is why I suggested checking vacuum at the booster, and if none there, test at the vac pump with the big tube off.  Vac at pump and not at booster indicates broken tube.  sometimes the crack is hard to find.

Before you replace the pump, make sure the check valves are operating and that 
you have not cracked plastic section of the main vacuum line.  It's pretty 
brittle by now....
