I replaced a booster on the TD and that seemed to help a lot with vacuum.  There were still some leaks somewhere that bled down the vac but while it was running it was OK.  It's kinda a PITA job with lots of contortions to get the nuts off the booster up above the break petal but other than that not too bad.
