It could also be that the circuit board gizmo behind the glove compartment has gone bad. I tried re-flowing the solder on mine, to no avail. Bob, I would recommend taking a drive to south PHX and visiting Dirty Harry. He will let you try used boards until you find one that works, and I think he charges $25 for the used ones. Lee
