Yeah, the whole story about him just taking off after their deaths is really sad. Apparently, Geddy and Alex heard little from him the whole time and were really concerned about the band ever getting back together.
I heard some really wild stories about them from their crew about when they toured as an opening act for Kiss. The guys in Kiss thought there was something wrong with them because they didn’t party or have all the groupies. They used to barge into the room where Kiss would be having all their post-concert debauchery and harsh everyone’s buzz. I don’t recall if it was Paul or Ace that Alex used to purposely try and bust up his groupie hookups on occasion just to mess with him.
