There is a more recent one also. While the band traveled by bus, he
rode to the next destination on the BMW, often overland, if there were
not too many fences in the way.

If I recall, and it’s been some time, he transited Central America and
nearly all of South America in the book, right? Pretty much just
riding the bike and relying on the kindness of strangers.
