Thanks yes I had a similar thought. I am not sure what a typical system
uses for inputs. There seems to be a pressure switch somewhere in the loop
usually. I think the cars typically monitor many parameters so getting the
factory ecu to do the job will involve some programming.

Probably simpler to fab a custom bracket for the old compressor, frankly,
though getting the factory version to work or finding a clutched version of
the compressor with similar mount would also really slick. I will see if I
can get ahold of anyone at denson or get on some geeky ac forums.
