One thing folks have not mentioned yet. Last time fuel prices exploded the demand was much higher. With the Covid bs going on, we have now moved to more remote work so a lot of folks don’t have to drive near as much as before.
Pretty soon, rather than getting expensed for miles for work, might have to switch to renting cars and expensing that and the fuel.
