That is the problem I'm facing now. I hit something that destroyed one tire on the '02 ML320. Michelin LTX from Costco. I called Costco about the warranty from 4 yrs. ago. The tire is NLA.
According to the manual, the tires on each side must be the same, but front and rear axles may be different. So, Costco will give me pro-rata for TWO tires. I ordered a pair of well rated Yokohamas from Tire Rack, they should be here Tues.
