Most undercooling problems are a result of overcharging -- R134a is lighter than R12, only put in 80 to 85% of the weight -- otherwise you get high suction side pressures and low cooling.Peter
Peter, has R134 worked for you? Is the evaporator big enough? How hot is it where you live. Here in Dallas 100F+ ambient temperature is nothing.
