There is a setup I’ve seen many times using multiple tanks, so it shouldn’t be 
hard to find information and parts sources for it.

Basically, you have multiple tanks set up next to each other. Each tank has a 
regulator, that is then fed into a valve that’s part of a manifold connecting 
the tanks together. Think of a “tee" sort of arrangement. That valve senses 
pressure from each tank, and when it drops below a predetermined value, closes 
off that tank from the manifold and opens to the other tank.

When I have a minute I’ll look around and see if I can find a reference to this 
setup on the web. It’s dead nut simple and purely mechanical, so you don’t have 
to mess with it.
