There have been a number of companies out there selling conversion kits to domestic iron, as it’s not terribly difficult to do, since a lot of the older Jags used domestic transmissions. I know of a couple that did conversions with short block Chevies.. Definitely made them more reliable and less expensive to repair/maintain.
