Like buttah, baby!

Yes, the smoothness of the V12 and chassis was such that it would mess with 
your head, making you think you were just floating along when you’re really 
ripping up the pavement.

The first time I drove an XJ12 I was on a two lane local street with a 30 mph 
limit. I didn’t realize that I was doing near 60 mph in the car until the 
passenger pointed it out.

They are wonderful cars when they work. But that’s a small part of the total 
duty cycle for one.
