Yeah, I posted about this last winter IIRC. Not all "Bosch" branded rebuilt electrical products are to Bosch dealer spec. WHich is why, at least here in Kanuckistan, if you buy a "Bosch" product from a big chain retailer (in Canada, Cdn Tire, I guess Pep Boys is the rough equivalent in the USA), you can't use it as a core or get warranty from an actual Bosch dealer. The Bosch dealers display a fax from Bosch HQ, poster-size on their wall, disclaiming responsibility for such products. That being said, in our Northeast climate I can't remember when I got more than 3 years give or take, from any 'rebuilt' alternator. Mac
