It’s a pump, a valve, a reservoir tank, and 2 struts in front and 2 bags in back. There’s a controller somewhere. The bags are relatively inexpensive, the struts more. The valve snd pump are cheap. Nothing particularly difficult to swap. I’m not sure why people get all bent about airmatic given the benefits esp in an SUV. If you’re buying an expensive German vehicle thrr we n don’t be a cheapass about its primary features. Get a DAS system you can scan diagnose and test the system and you’re halfway there.
