So the vac pump diaphragm on Brunnhilde is going bad yet again. This will be the third one in about 3 years. I think I replaced this one about a year ago. I can probably change it now in about 3 minutes. Is there some kind of superduper polymeric material that might be better than whatever rubber is used to make these things? I have some EPDM (rubber roofing material) that is nearly indestructible in the weather, I'm wondering if I should make one out of that. $35 a whack, or whatever the price is these days, is kinda starting to get old.
