Again, my opinion. Isn't there a saying comparing opinions to AHs - Everyone has one and they are usually full of " :)
Nuclear is a bad choice. We already have no real clue what to do with the waste we currently create. So far nuclear power has not created the link to sustainability that I feel is necessary. The bottom line however, must remian in the way in which we use power. Do we really need a 4,000 sq. foot home? Can we not wait to go to Wal Mart until we need more than a bottle of ketchup in town? Would it hurt us in some way to walk to the local corner store for that candy bar we desire? Are we as a culture - AMERICA sucks at this one - utilizing what we do have to our best advantage? Solar, Wind, Hydro, Bio, etc. Mine as the generation of "I want it now and I want it my way" Well folks perhaps it is time that we learned that the earth is NOT the Burger King Corporation and we cannot always get what we want. (Yeah I know, a perfect line for the Rolling Stones song) :) We have no clue what it is like to do without or to conserve what we do have for tomorrow. Finding another use for something that has fulfilled its purpose? (The scratched DVD that makes a great light reflector/scarecrow attachment in a garden) We have no clue. For me, the creation of Biodiesel and it's effects on my community create enough affects in me to make me smile. :) Dave H... ______________________________________________________________ From: Allan Streib <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Reply-To: Mercedes Discussion List <mercedes@okiebenz.com> To: Mercedes Discussion List <mercedes@okiebenz.com> Subject: Re: [MBZ] Diesels Vs Hybrids Date: Fri, 09 Nov 2007 10:00:38 -0500 >"Robert Rentfro" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> writes: > > > 'Zactly.
