Do what I do in the 300DSL. Run conventional oil most of the time & mobil-1
once a year for a good cleaning. Since I started this, I've had no lifter
noise from the engine.

The problem is that M1 is about 60 bucks for 5 liters but I guess engine 
damage due to blocked oil feed lines is expensive as well.
