Since you're on gmail there is no reason to be in digest mode. Switch to individual-message mode and set up a filter so that all messages with "okiebenz" in the "from" or "to" field get a specific label (I use "Mercedes List". Gmail is smart enough to keep each thread together. It is much easier to follow than digest mode and won't clutter up the display of your mailbox any worse. The idea of switching to a web-based forum has come up before. Personally I am strongly against it; in fact, if I could wave my magic wand and turn all web-based fora into Usenet groups I would. But I'm a freak and I bet nobody here except maybe Booher would agree with me.
