Remove the cover over the blower motor and unplug the motor connector.  I 
believe there are three wires (power, park, and ground) but I'm not sure.  I'll 
dig up some data from the CD tonight.

Wiper motor replacment isn't too bad on the W124 with two caveats:  You MUST 
remove the wiper arm (screw under the flip-up cover at the bottom) or you will 
break the windshield getting it in or out, and if the windshield has been 
replaced by someone sloppy with the glue, the transmission may be glued to the 
glass, in which case you need to take it to the glass installer and insist that 
THEY replace the wiper assembly -- that way THEY can pay for the new glass and 
installation when it breaks.

You may have a bad ground, too.
