"Old GLSL compiler" meaning the compiler stack in 7.8? Or does it mean the old 965 back-end in 7.9? Both 7.9 and 7.10 include the rewritten compiler. The primary difference between 7.9 and 7.10 is that 7.10 includes a new back-end for 965 hardware that does not use the old Mesa IR.
