I am curious about this. As you propably noted the Makefile.fx
(for win32, Visual C++, 3dfx) does support using NASM assembly.

At least for me it works "automatically" (no hand modifying).
(I did the current version of Makefile.fx)

I only have a Pentium PRO, so I don't really know what happens
with the 3DNOW stuff.
