since mesa git commit c2b185cff82a6cdb723cda4e05ffe1a213a9de3e (from 5.1.07)
any opengl app will crash with something like that:
# glxgears
X Error of failed request: BadRequest (invalid request code or no such
operation)
Major opcode of failed request: 156 (DAMAGE)
Minor opcode of failed request: 4 ()
Serial number of failed request: 37
Current serial number in output stream: 39
reverting only this commit (see attached patch) fixes the problem for me.
What's wrong here?
Xorg 7.2, r200 dri driver
