There are quite a few branches in the mesa repo that haven't seen a commit in many years.
http://cgit.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/refs/heads I may be missing something, but it seems like it would be nice to clean up some branches that have no chance of being committed to again. Some that come to mind: autoconf, experimental-1, mesa (I'm not really sure at all what this was for) and any of the mesa_x_y_branch branches prior to probably 6. To delete branches from the remote repo, just do git push origin :branchtodelete where having the empty refspec on the left side of the colon means that an empty revision is being pushed to that branch.
