I use git mesa (not gallium branch), Xorg, drm and nouveau.
Building mesa 'make linux-dri-x86' and 'make glcore' etc. works OK.
If I build just mesa:
'make linux-x86'
at the end linker reports:
/usr/bin/ld "cannot find -lX11"
and build fails.
I don't know why this is.
