Hi, AFAIK hdmi is a IP and needs kernel module etc to support it. Please check in Xilinx forum on IP design etc. If you use displayport, it will not need any IP

I'm currently using the "thud (2.6.2)" version of poky. This is what i've done so far: - I used the Vivado project from here: https://github.com/analogdevicesinc/hdl/tree/master/projects/adv7511/zed and with SDK i generated the device-tree. I created a layer and i inserted the ps7_init_gpl.c/h, the device-tree and the bitstream inside my project. - This is my bblayer.conf: BBLAYERS ?= " \ /home/jksandek/poky/meta \ /home/jksandek/poky/meta-poky \ /home/jksandek/poky/meta-yocto-bsp \ /home/jksandek/poky/meta-openembedded/meta-oe \ /home/jksandek/poky/meta-openembedded/meta-python \ /home/jksandek/poky/meta-openembedded/meta-networking \ /home/jksandek/poky/meta-openembedded/meta-multimedia \ /home/jksandek/poky/meta-xilinx/meta-xilinx-bsp \ /home/jksandek/poky/meta-xilinx-tools \ /home/jksandek/poky/meta-petalinux \ " and this is my local.conf: MACHINE ??= "zedboard-zynq7" IMAGE_INSTALL_append = " rsync busybox tmux nano i2c-tools devmem2 python3 python3-pip dropbear" LICENSE_FLAGS_WHITELIST += " commercial commercial_faad2 commercial_gstreamer1.0-plugins-ugly " ENABLE_I2C = "1" - At the end i did "bitbake core-image-sato" and compiled without errors, but when i start up, the Zedboard cannot find the screen connected to the hdmi. What should i do? This is the right mailing list to ask this? Thanks for your help.
