Hi --

I found out some more about my situation.  In my Internet Control Panel,
I am configured to use a http proxy server by default.  This server can
resolve internet names, but not intranet names.  When Metacard starts up,
this value is used to set httpProxy.  So in my default case, my stacks
cannot resolve intranet names.  I found that if I say "set the httpProxy
to empty", then I can see intranet sites.  I can live with this!
