This shouldn't happen if you use "go to stack x in window of stack y"
or if you open the new one before closing the old one.

It should show this if you open the stacks as toplevel.  Windows in
other modes are not supposed to appear there (and indeed are never
even supposed to be open without some main, toplevel, window open).
