Thanks to everyone for your help. Here's what I am planning to do.
1. Create a specific creator type for my application (the Manager).
2. Use the Externals Collection to get the path to the application when
additional modules are installed.
I think this will be the cleanest scenario on the Mac. Thanks, Kevin.
